First World War Officers Travel Case

Quite unique Officers Travel Case from the First World War and in excellent condition.Sturdily constructed from hard wood, this case would have accompanied the officer on the British Overseas Expeditionary Force and used to store his belongings and valuables. The officer in question and whose name and details are printed boldly on the case was a Captain C.E.B Elton of the Royal Army Service Corps;137445.His home barracks appears to have located in London. Will make a very interesting display item for anyone interested in WW1 history and artefacts.
