Great example of an original Guinness advertising Showcard.Formerly it was incumbent on the pub owner to bottle his own Guinness .Labels were provided and then stuck to bottles which were then washed and reused on the premises. This print depicts a label from Michael Scott’s in Marlborough Street in Dublin. Scotts premises was destroyed during the 1916 Rising as can be seen in the attached insurance claim form.
